It’s time for another Facebook Live Video.
This time, we join Patty Schilling, Supervisor, Marine Mammals, in the New Balance Marine Mammal Center to visit with our California sea lions Ron, Zoe, and Sierra, and learn about their training.
Our sea lions participate in four training sessions a day. In between these sessions, trainers may also incorporate enrichment and/or play time activities for the sea lions. We begin by building the sea lion’s confidence and trust before moving on to more advanced behaviors.
